Hyundai cars are made by a South Korean manufacturer which is part of the Hyundai Group. The company was set up in 1947 by a man called Chung Ju-yung, although it was originally a construction company. It was not until 1974 that the first Hyundai car was released - the Hyundai Pony. In 1987 Hyundai expanded their product range to include trucks. The Grace Minibus, the Porter truck and the Mighty truck were released.
