Isuzus are Japanese vehicles, manufactured by Isuzu Motors Ltd, which is based in Tokyo. Isuzu are now most
well-known for their trucks and SUVs rather than cars – no Isuzu cars have been issued for some years, The first vehicle under the Isuzu name was released in 1934,
although the company dates as far back as 1916. It was a truck called the Isuzu after the river of the same name. The word Isuzu means ’50 bells’.
The first Isuzu car was released in 1953 – The Hillman Minx.
