Ligier cars are made by a French car maker. Ligier cars were developed by Gary Ligier who used to be a rugby player and racing driver. The first Ligier car produced was the Ligier JS2, a sports car. Later, Ligier focused more on micro-cars, such as the moped-powered Ligier JS6 which was released in 1984. Popular Ligier lines include the: Ligier X-Too, X-Pro and the Be Up/Be Two. Ligier models include small commercial vehicles, open air roadster-type cars, quad bikes and off-road utility vehicles. Ligier is also well-known for its Formula One team between 1976 to 1996. The team won a Grand Prix in 1977 with a Matra V12-powered car driven by Jacques Laffite. Buy or sell a Ligier through VehicleText.com.
