Maybach is a luxury German car brand. The cars have been manufactured by Maybach-Motorenbau GmbH since 1909. The Maybach brand is owned by Daimler. Between 1920 and 1940, the company produced many Maybach vehicles, including the Maybach W1, 3 and 5 and the Maybach DS7 Zeppelin. Maybach produced many vehicles during the Second World War.
After the War, no cars were produced for 20 years. The company was renamed MTU. Since 1997 Mercedes has released two Maybach models the Maybach 57 and Maybach 62. Other post-97 Maybachs include the Maybach Exelero, Maybach 57S , Maybach 62S and the Maybach 62 Landaulet.
