Mini is made by a manufacturer of the same name which is a division of BMW. The company was set up in 1959. Mini models include the thee-door hatchback, the two-door convertible and engine options include diesel. In the past mini models have included estates, saloons, vans and trucks.
The original mini is a 1960s icon. The most recent mini is the BMW mini which was introduced in 2001.
Back in 1999, the mini car was rated the second most influential car of the 20th century. Minis have been famously owned by many celebrities and a psychedelic mini featured in the Beatles film Magical Mystery Tour.
